BACKUP & DISASTER RECOVERY

Managed Backup and Disaster Recovery for Servers, Hosting and Cloud

Most businesses have backups. Far fewer have backups that have actually been restored recently, stored somewhere a ransomware attack cannot reach, and tied to a plan that says who does what when the primary server is gone. The difference shows up at the worst possible moment.

VIPoint Solutions designs, runs and tests backup and disaster recovery as a managed service. We define your recovery objectives, implement the tooling, monitor every job, and run restore drills so you know your recovery time before you need it.

What the service covers

Backup design and implementation: file, database and full-image backups using JetBackup, Acronis, Veeam, Proxmox Backup Server, Restic or native cloud snapshots, with retention policies that fit your compliance needs.

Offsite and immutable copies: 3-2-1 backup strategy with encrypted offsite storage on S3-compatible object storage or a second data centre, including immutable or air-gapped copies that ransomware cannot encrypt.

Defined RPO and RTO: we agree how much data you can afford to lose and how fast you must be back, then build and test to those numbers.

Disaster recovery planning: documented runbooks, standby infrastructure (warm or cold), DNS failover planning and clear escalation paths.

Monitoring and restore testing: daily job verification, alerting on failures, and scheduled restore drills with a written report.

24/7 recovery support: when something goes wrong, our engineers execute the recovery, whether that is a single mailbox, a database table or an entire server.

Built for hosting providers and growing businesses

We run backup operations for web hosting companies with thousands of cPanel accounts as well as for individual SaaS and e-commerce platforms. The same discipline applies: verified, offsite, tested and documented.

What is the difference between backup and disaster recovery?

Backup is a copy of your data. Disaster recovery is the tested plan and infrastructure that gets your services running again from that copy within an agreed time.

How often are restores tested?

At minimum quarterly, and monthly for critical systems. Each drill produces a report showing the actual recovery time achieved.

Are the backups protected against ransomware?

Yes. We keep at least one copy immutable or offline so an attacker who compromises the primary server cannot delete or encrypt it.

Can you back up cPanel or Plesk servers?

Yes. We manage JetBackup, native cPanel backups and server-level image backups, with per-account restore for hosting customers.

3-2-1 PROTECTED

Three copies, two media types, one offsite and immutable, so a single failure or attack never costs you everything.

ENCRYPTED & COMPLIANT

Encrypted at rest and in transit with retention policies mapped to your regulatory requirements.

TESTED RESTORES

Scheduled restore drills with reports, so recovery time is a known number, not a guess.

24/7 RECOVERY TEAM

Engineers available around the clock to execute a recovery the moment you need one.
