What is a GCC?
A Global Capability Centre is an offshore team that works as an extension of your company rather than as an outsourced vendor. Traditionally only large enterprises built their own. GCC-as-a-Service makes the model available to mid-size companies.
Do we need to register a company in India?
No. Your team is employed and managed by VIPoint in our SEZ facility in Kochi. If you later want your own entity, we can discuss a Build-Operate-Transfer.
How is this different from outsourcing?
With outsourcing, a vendor delivers outcomes with its own staff. With a VIPoint India team, the engineers are dedicated to you, follow your processes and priorities, and you choose who joins.
How quickly can we start?
Dedicated engineers can usually start within 2–4 weeks. A larger managed team typically takes 1–3 months, depending on the roles.
Who owns the work and IP?
You do. Contracts assign all work product, code, documentation and intellectual property to you.
